XC Venues – directions given on relevant training sheet

Lower Peake, Warnford SO32 3LA. 

Take A32 south, through West Meon and Warnford.  As you leave Warnford there are iron railings on the left; after about half a mile the railings end and you will see yellow posts.  Turn left down drive (grassy triangle as you start), follow narrow road for about ¾ mile, bear left as you come towards farm and head down towards the white house which is Lower Peake.  A one way system operates for boxes & trailers.

Glen Farm Livery Yard, Stroudwood Lane, Upham, SO32 1HG.

Stroudwood Lane is off Mortimers Lane (B3037).  It is a couple of miles out of Bishops Waltham in the Winchester direction.  Best route is go into Lower Upham (from Bishop’s Waltham), turn left by the Alma Pub down Mortimer’s Lane.  After .8 miles turn right into Stroudwood Lane and Glen Farm Livery Yard is a few hundred yards along on the left.

Highbank, Gravel Hill, PO8 0QD (actually sited on Petersfield Lane).

From A3 take Clanfield/Chalton turning.  When you reach Clanfield side of motorway head towards London/A3 past LMK Motors and Hampshire Hog.  Immediately turn left up Petersfield Lane, signed Butser Hill.  Entrance to yard is about 100 yards on right.  From Clanfield, come out of village, past school and turn left up Petersfield Lane, signed Petersfield (not straight on towards Chalton).  Go 1 mile, just past Hogs Lodge Lane you will find entrance to Highbank on the left.

Warrenside Farm, Priors Dean, Nr Petersfield, GU32 1BW

Coming from the South ( eg West Meon)on the A32,turn right at Hedge Corner and head for Petersfield and Froxfield. After three miles you will pass Windmill Cottage on your left. At the top of the next hill turn sharp left at the tractor sign. You are now in Warren Lane. The road goes sharp left, and then you will pass Warren Barn on your right. We are the next house along, big white house with a long stable block in front of it.
Sat nav may bring you in via narrow lanes so this route is best.

If you are coming from Petersfield, go up Stoner Hill past the Cricketers pub. After the Trooper inn, turn right into Warren Lane and follow the previous instructions.

Catherington Equestrian, Catherington Lane, Catherington, PO8 0TB

Catherington Equestrian can be found on Catherington Lane, from the A3M leave at the Horndean junction which is sign posted Emsworth and Cowplain, after passing Morrisons go straight over the traffic lights onto Catherington lane, stay on this road for approximately 1 mile, the Equestrian centre is the first property on the left after Crouch Lane, use the second gate after the lay-by. If coming from the Meon valley via Old Clanfield, take Downhouse Road out of Clanfield following signs to Catherington, branch left at the crossroads and take Catherinton lane, the Equestrian centre is approximately 1 mile on the right after the church.
