Competition

What a day – the sun shone, the ground was fantastic, Jenny Naylor-Davis had built a great show jumping course and Laura Bleecker and Pippa Griffin had thought of everything and produced a perfectly run day.  Dick King very kindly stepped in to score yet again, helped by Storme Whittaker and they produced the results in double quick time!  XC control was in the very capable hands of Helen Vernon and Chrissy Hughes and everything ran like clockwork.  Just a shame we did not have more competitors – everyone there thought it an excellent course so do please enter next year!!  Full results are on our website but just to pinpoint Meon successes:  1A Novice Eventers Challenge R – 1st Daniel Searle on Rebellioj, 2nd Linda Budge on Fernhill Frankie.  1B EC Open – 2nd Gen Lodge on April.  2A Novice XC R – 2nd Clare Cornett on Huck Finn.  2B Nov XC Open – 2nd Anne Evans on Just Jesting.  5A Intermediate EC R 1st Kerry Tyrrell on Himoons Angel, 3rd Gen Lodge on Jazz.  5B Intermediate EC Open – 3rd Jacqui Young-Ballinger on Deno, 4th Jackie Rixon on Colour Me Danny.  6A Intermediate XC R – 6th Clare Cornett on Huck Finn.  7 Open EC – 4th Kerry Tyrrell on Staghill Twice as Nice, 6th Sarah Pook on Top Pride.  No pairs placings.  Our thanks to all the wonderful helpers who also made the day such a success  Eventers Challenge Individual Results 6 Oct 2013  Eventers Challenge Pairs Results 6 Oct 2013
