Membership

Meon Riding Club is a friendly and supportive club offering riding and non-riding memberships for adults aged 18 and over and Juniors aged 12 and over. Our members ride at many different levels and in all disciplines and are always welcoming. We have a great team spirit which sees us support each other at team and individual events.

We have members from many of the villages between Portsmouth and Southampton and inland up the Meon Valley as far as Alton, in Hampshire, UK. Several founder members are still members today, due to the lively, varied and interesting programme the Committee organises each year.

Riding Membership

We believe our annual subscription gives excellent value for money. The membership fee includes affiliation to BRC which costs £20 per member for 2023. Your subscription gives you third-party insurance, which provides cover for all members whilst attending Club events.

We also often subsidise our very comprehensive training programme.

Non Riding Membership

We also provide a category of membership designed for those who no longer ride or have never ridden but would just like to take part in our social activities, stay in contact with us and perhaps help at our competitions or qualifiers.
Non-riding Membership is based on full membership but these members will not be entitled to take advantage of training provided by the Club or to reduced entry fees at Club competitions. These members shall not be eligible to represent the Club in any riding competitions.
